Our Story
Founder and Director
Fatemeh Fasihmatlab is the founder and manager of Honareh Iranian Institute in Iran, which she has proudly led for over 15 years. The institute, supported by a dedicated team of approximately 25 personnel, has become a hub for both traditional and modern Iranian handicrafts and sewing arts. With more than 15 years of hands-on experience, she is deeply passionate about preserving and sharing the rich cultural heritage of Iran through high-quality, handmade creations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Educational Management and Planning, and her mission has always been to empower individuals—particularly women—by equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive as entrepreneurs in the arts. Over the years, she has trained more than 1,000 students across Iran, helping them launch successful careers as artisans and creators. In 2024, she expanded this vision internationally by establishing Ariyan Arts in Canada, where she continues to promote Iranian culture and craftsmanship. She participated in various Festivals in Toronto and Emirate and has showcased her work in over 10 exhibitions across Iran over the past decade, further raising awareness of the beauty and diversity of Iranian arts.
